Opening a Stall at Grameen Mela, Dantan

• To teach the women to market the product

Gonpada Navajeevan Trust requested Grameen Mela Committee at Dantan to give a place to open stall where the women could display their product and find marketing for their products. The idea was accepted by the committee and the women were given a stall to display their products and sell them. With the help of Trust animators, the women were able to put up the stall for 8 days. Mrs. Kukumoni, who was there at the stall, said it was very good experience and she learnt as to how to sell the products. She also learnt to attract the customers to purchase the products. Mrs. Priyanka also had the same experience. She says it was first time that I sat in a stall and sold something. I have got the confident that I too can do something in life.
