Visit by Superior General of SVD

The Superior General of Society of the Divine Word, Fr. Paulus Budi Kleden visited GNWT on 29th April, 2022. The Superior General firstly visited the Manoharpur Tailoring Center and interacted with the Tailoring Students. He encouraged them to get empowered by learning the skill and by being cable of income generation that they can help themselves and their families. He then visited the GNWT office at Bamanpukur where he interacted with the nursing students and SHG women among whom GNWT has been working extensively. He encouraged the nursing students to make use of their knowledge and skill to be of service to their community while he encouraged the women to participate in the various activities conducted by GNWT and to help themselves only through which they can help others The Superior General also met with the students taking Remedial Classes. He shared his experience as a student and told them that only by learning to sit that they can learn. He encouraged them to be a good student and to be an example to their juniors. He also encouraged and thanked the animators and the staff for the work they have been doing in the community. The participants were distributed sweets after the program.
