Special Tuition for Remedial Students

Special Tuition was organized from 23rd May to 27th May at Sayapara for two centers which are Sayapara and Nahapar and from 30th May to 3rd June at Bezda. There were 12 students present for the tuition in Sayapara and 21 children who participated in the tuition from Bejda. The tuitions were held from 9am to 11.30am. Each day different topics were taught to the children by various teachers along with the remedial teachers. Mr. Ajit, Mr. Mihir, Mr. Gabriel, Ms. Nevidita, Ms. Mona, and Sr. Laveena were the teachers. The topics dealt were word building, creation of simple sentences, mental mathematics, storytelling, and handwriting. Along with these, activities such as singing action songs, making art with waste, drawing and team building group works and games were conducted. The special tuition was arranged to make difference in learning for the children. They were taught things outside their regular curriculum. Through this tuition children learnt to be together, to share, to help one another and to think out of the box. On the last day, a small get together was organized with food items brought by the children. All efforts were made to make the five days of learning more interesting for children.
