 GNWT on 20th September 2022, organized a Blood Donation Campaign in collaboration with Kharagpur Sub-Division Hospital Blood Bank. The Blood Donation Campaign took place in Dibyo Bani Niketan Campus, Gonpada from 10am to 1:30pm. The Campaign was inaugurated with a prayer song, welcome address by GNWT Secretary and a speech by Dr. Jhuma from KSDBB. Dr. Jhuma gave awareness to the doners about Blood Donation and the benefits it has. After the Inauguration, the donors were screened and those who were eligible donated blood. The donors were presented with Certificates and Doner Card with which they will be able to get one unit of Blood free of cost up to one year from the date of Donation. The donors were also provided with refreshments. There was a total of 22 doners for the campaign.
