Training on Scientific Rice Intensification

On 14th and 15th December, 2020 Gonpada Navjeevan Welfare Trust organized a two days training programme on Scientific Rice Intensification method for 22 participants including farmers and SHG groups from 10 am to 4.30 pm at Dibyo Bani Niketan, Gonpada. Mr. Dipak Mandal and Mr. Prabhas Das, the experts for the training, discussed in detail about the SRI method, the implementation steps, the advantages SRI method and disadvantages of traditional inputs. Later, five farmers had demonstrated this method during summer harvest.
