International Women’s Day celebration with SHGs

On 8^th March, 2021, Gonpada Navjeevan Welfare Trust Celebrated International Women’s Day with 111 SHG members from Manoharpur GP-3, Tararui GP-2, Ranisorai GP-10 panchayats at Dibyo Bani Niketan, Gonpada from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. Mrs. Monalisha Pahari, the assistant teacher of Dantan Bhagbat Charan Primary School and Mrs. Sefali Murmu, the former President of Dantan Block Office were the distinguished guests for the event. The other guests present for the celebration were- Fr. Kasmir Kujur, the Parish Priest of St. Arnold’s Church, Fr. Saroj Kumar Hess, the treasurer of St. Arnold’s School, Fr. Lawrence D’ Almeida, the GNWT Secretary and Mrs. Sonali Giri, the assistant teacher of Moghalmari Primary School. Mrs. Monalisha Pahari, the Chief Guest of the programme, said that women should not label their responsibilities as sacrifice, rather do what is right and stand firm against any wrongdoing.
