Food Kit Distribution to Needy Families

On 12th September 2022, the Missionaries of Charity Sisters, Kearchand supported the distribution of food kit to 100 needy families which was implemented through Gonpada Navjeevan Welfare Trust. The distribution was conducted by the MC Sisters to commemorate the 25th Death Anniversary of Blessed Mother Teresa.  The distribution was conducted from 9 am to 11am in Bamanpukur. The MC Sisters supported 100 beneficiaries from, Manoharpur GP-3, Tararui GP-2 and Ranisorai GP- 10 Panchayats of Dantan1 and Narayangarh Block. The distribution commenced with a prayer song by the GNWT animators and by giving honor to the photo of Blessed Mother Teresa. The needy were then distributed given dry food kit, like- tea, dal, pulses, sugar, cooking oil, biscuits along with mugs and scotch bright. The GNWT animators assisted in the distribution. Prior to the program, GNWT had conducted a baseline survey in the three to learn about the needy families. The beneficiary’s signature was collected to ensure that all the beneficiaries received the food kit and for transparency of the process.
