International Women’s Day Celebration

On 8th March, 2019, International Women’s Day was celebrated at Dibyo Bani Niketan, Gonpada from 2 p.m to 5 p.m by Gonpada Navjeevan Welfare Trust, to appreciate the village women for their contribution towards the society and to encourage participation of women in socio-economic activities. A procession from Bamanpukur to Gonpada was organized at 2 p.m. Mrs. Sharmista Maity, Advocate of Medinipur Judge’s Court was the distinguished guest for the event. There were altogether 97 women present for the celebration.
