Meeting with the TATA Metaliks

On 29th November, 2020 two community mobilizers from TATA Metaliks had visited GNWT with a proposal to sensitize and mobilize the village youth for the professional courses that would be imparted at Dantan in West Medinipur. The mobilizers stated that on the completion of a course, the trainees would be working with companies like Samsung, Daikin, Amazon, etc. Taking into consideration the financial hardship and the transportation problem often faced by the students, the short/long term courses would to be held at Dantan. The GNWT Secretary on hearing the mobilizers proposed to the requirements for the process. This meeting helped the Trust to cultivate productive relationship with TATA Metaliks so as to support the youth with skill development programmes and job placement
