Republic Day Celebration

On 26th January 2022, Gonpada Navjeevan Welfare Trust celebrated Republic Day at GNWT Office Bamnapukur, from 9.00 am onwards in the presence of tailoring students, remedial students, SHG women representatives and GNWT staff members. On this special occasion, Mr. Atanu Pradhan Asst. Teacher of Brahmankhalisa Swarupananda Adarsha Vidyapith High school was the chief guest. Mr. Ajit Mandi, Staff of GNWT anchored the program. Hoisting of the flag was done by Mr. Atanu Pradhan accompanied by Fr Lawrence D’ Almeida, Secretary of GNWT. All those present paid due respect to the nation by singing National Anthem. Ms. Nivedita Sahoo sang a patriotic song and GNWT associates from Fatepur presented a patriotic dance. Mrs. Sombari Baskey, a tailoring trainee from Fatepur highlighted the importance of the day with a special emphasis on communal solidarity and unity for a better nation. The Chief Guest, Mr. Atanu Pradhan spoke elaborately as to why we keep up this day as Republic Day and remembered all those who worked hard to give us the constitution of India. The programme concluded with vote of thanks proposed by the GNWT Secretary and distribution of sweets.
