On 26^th and 27^th September 2022, two social animators from GNWT attended a session on Follow Up Capacity Building Training cum Review with the Partner Organization on Small Holder Farmer’s Network Building at Association of Bengal Collaborators for Development, Kolkata. The seminar was presided over by Rev. Fr. Parimal Kanji the Director of ABCD and Mr. Provokar Bar the keynote speaker for the seminar. The seminar focused on Situation of Small Holder Farmers in the Project Area, Formation and Strengthening of Farmers Groups, Encouraging Farmers for Organic Farming, Climate Smart Agriculture for better planning to tackle Weather Aberrations, and to make linkages with Krishi Vikas Kendra (KVK), Agriculture Development Officers (ADO), Farmers Development Organization (FDO), Gram Panchayat and the Regional Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). These topics were elaborately discussed in the seminar. The seminar concluded with the planning and overview of the next seminar which will take place for the social animators on Safeguarding and its Policies
