Agriculture is the prime source of livelihood in West Medinipur district of West Bengal. The farmers are mostly dependent on the primitive methods to earn a decent income for livelihood. Thus, taking into account the ongoing changes in the climatic patterns and the progress in the field of scientific agriculture, the Trust in collaboration with Aries Agro Limited conducted a training programme for the farmers on 7th July 2021 at GNWT Office, from 3 pm to 5 pm. Agriculturist, Mr. Pravas Chandra Das, shared valuable information on enhancing the agricultural output through the scientific methods of cultivation and usage of organic products. The farmers were encouraged to use organic manure and bio fertilizers. The resource person stated that the use of right agricultural products can extend the plant life, enhance crop resistance ability, and increase the yield by helping the plant make food from the natural resources (soil, water and sunlight)
