Gonpada Navjeevan Welfare Trust conducts various outreach activities, awareness programs, skill-based training programs, seminars, activity-based programs, promotion of community welfare schemes and observation of special days pertaining to the various specific areas it works under. GNWT actively involves the members of the community in its events as only involvement and inclusion can bring about empowerment. Here are the events that GNWT will be undertaking soon.
A Seminar on Human Rights will be conducted on Human Rights Day i.e., 10th December 2022, with the objective to conscientize the backward population of the villages of Manoharpur, Ranisorai and Tararui Panchayats about their human rights, laws and enactments related to human rights and prevention of the violation of human rights. The Seminar will help these backward population to know their rights and protect themselves from exploitation. The seminar will have 100 participants consisting of youth, women, and men. The seminar will incur an expense of Rs. 22,500/- which includes food and snacks, tent and sound system, renumeration for resource person and other miscellaneous expenses. GNWT will be conducting a one-day Children’s Camp for the needy children of Gonpada and its surrounding villages with the objective to give them a platform to showcase their talents and identify their interest, learn sharing and teamwork, become aware, gain confidence and have get together with other village children. It also provides an opportunity to the parents to understand their child’s ability, interests, and talents. The Trust will be conducting games and sports for the children as well as singing and drawing competition. The camp will incur an expense of Rs. 16,000/- which includes expense for tent and sound system, refreshments for the children, prizes for winners and other miscellaneous expenses. GNWT is conducting a fundraiser on the occasion of Christmas and New Year 2023, to provide 100 needy children warm winter clothing from the villages of Manoharpur, Tararui, Ranisorai, Alikosa and Junbalda Panchayats. The objective of this fundraiser is to provide the children with warm clothing so that they can continue their day-to-day activities especially going to school during winter and refrain from any illness caused by cold. The total fund to be raised is Rs. 60,000/- i.e., Rs. 600 per child. The children of these villages need your support, and your generous contribution can be a boon to them this winter.
